After reading reviews here, I had a copy of this book overnighted to me just in time for my flight to Marsh Harbor! And I am so glad I did!! This book proved to be an essential for my family as we navigated the gorgeous islands. We rented a small boat for several days for some island-hopping and beach time. While we have boated many times in the past, we don't consider ourselves experts - especially in unfamiliar waters. This guide had excellent maps of the waterways that made navigating simple - including details on specific venues available for docsing at each island. This is a good comprenhensive guide loaded with good information and a great planing guide. There is a smal amount of info that can be gained by Steve Doges Cruising Guide to Abaco. Either one of these compliments the other.
I bought this book in preparation for a private fishing trip to the northern Bahamas and I can tell you that it is very accurate and very informative. The coordinates were accurate and the directions percise. You have to know a little about navigation (very basic) but it was very very helpful. Had a great trip and caught lots of fish.
